"Il Ballo del Doge", organizzato da Antonia Sautter dal 1994, è stato definito il Ballo più elegante ed esclusivo al mondo. Nell'edizione del 2009 un nuovo evento: l'asta benefica della Ferrari F 430 GT – GRAND AM condotta da Meeting Art. Una parte del ricavato sarà devoluta in beneficenza alla Lega del Filo d’Oro.

Ferrari F 430 GT – GRAND AM. La base è una Ferrari GT3 FIA Championship che Kessel Racing ha trasformato in GrandAm seguendo le indicazioni tecniche stabilite dal regolamento del Campionato Americano GrandAm. Si differenzia nell’aerodinamica, dovendo adattare il coefficiente di penetrazione dell’aria utilizzando l’alettone posteriore fornito dai tecnici Grand- Am, quindi minigonne e spoiler costruiti appositamente. I cerchioni avranno 5 fori di fissaggio; per questo motivo l’auto è stata studiata sia da parte della BBS per la costruzione dei cerchi, sia della Brembo per costruire nuovi freni e pinze, adattabili a tale innovazione tecnica, unica su una Ferrari. Il motore è l’otto cilindri Ferrari GT3 con alcune migliorie, al banco negli ultimi test ha erogato una potenza di ben 560 HP. Internamente anche la struttura roll ball è completamente nuova, con rinforzi aggiunti nella parte anteriore e superiore. L’8 cilindri Ferrari sarà raffreddato da ben due radiatori e non uno centrale come le comuni GT3. Il debutto ufficiale negli USA è previsto per il 2 Luglio a Daytona; alla guida Alex Pignone ed Eddie Cheever.

Con l’aggiudicazione dell’auto il proprietario diverrà partner del progetto Daytona 2009 e godrà dei seguenti benefit:

1. la partecipazione della vettura Ferrari F 430 GT – GRAND AM alla gara valevole per il Campionato Grand Am 2009 sulla pista Daytona International Motor Speedway il 2 Luglio 2009;

2. la titolarità del cofano della Ferrari F 430 GT – GRAND AM per esibire un logo di propria scelta;

3. l’organizzazione e la promozione nazionale e internazionale dell’evento Daytona;

4. la possibilità di organizzare, nell’area Paddock durante la gara, eventi di promozione privati o aziendali

"Il Ballo del Doge", organized by Antonia Sautter since 1994, has been defined the world’s most elegant and exclusive Ball. In the 2009 edition, a new event: a charity auction of a Ferrari F 430 GT – GRAND AM auctioned of by Meeting Art. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Lega del Filo d’Oro Association, represented by Renzo Arbore, musician and ambassador of the Italian music in the world. The Lega del Filo d’Oro, is a no-profit Organisation, with the sole aim of achieving social harmony, has as its objective the assistance, education, rehabilitation treatment and re-integration of people who are deafblind and have multisensory deficits.

Ferrari F 430 GT – GRAND AM. It's a Ferrari GT3 FIA Championship car which Kessel Racing has transformed into a Grand Am on the basis of technical instructions established by the regulations of the American Grand Am championship. The differences lie in the aerodynamics, as the air penetration coefficient has to be adapted with a rear fin provided by Grand Am technicians, plus the addition of specially constructed miniskirts and spoilers. The rims will have 5 anchorage holes; BBS studied the car to design the rims, and Brembo came up with new brakes and grippers adaptable to this technical innovation, a unique addition to a Ferrari. The engine is an eight cylinder Ferrari GT3 with a number of improvements, which produced a power of 560 HP in final testing. The roll ball structure is also completely new, with reinforcements added at the top and front. The 8 cylinder Ferrari will be cooled by two radiators and not a central one like an ordinary GT3. The official debut in the USA is scheduled on 2nd July 2009 in Daytona; drivers: Alex Pignone and Eddie Cheever.

The owner who gets the car will become a partner in the Daytona 2009 project enjoying the following benefits:
1. participation with the Ferrari F 430 GT – GRAND AM in the Grand Am 2009 Championship competition on the Daytona International Speedway on July 2nd 2009;
2. the right to display a logo of his or her choice on the hood of the Ferrari F 430 GT – GRAND AM;
3. organisation and national and international promotion of the Daytona event;
4. the opportunity to hold private or corporate promotional events in the paddock during the competition
